Dr. Usha Shah - MBBS, MD (Pharmacology)

 

She has an elective profile and has got a vast experience of 39 yrs in the field of teaching and research in Medical College. She is qualified as MBBS and MD in Pharmacology from B. J Medical college. She has expertise in Pharmacology and has made prolific contribution in the field of medicine through her leadership in B J Medical, CU Shah Medical College and SBKS Medical Institute , Kesar Sal Medical College, Ahmedabad and also acted as Principal, ICRI prior to joining Xcellon Institute as Academic Director.

 
She has professional affiliation to a number of organizations at national level. She was expert member of FDA, Gujarat; National Formulary of India, IMA, Indian Pharmacological Society, Indian Hypertension Society. She was an expert in UPSC, GPSC, RPSC etc.She has credentials of more than 100 Research paper of high repute published in National and International journals. She actively participated and presented research papers in national and international conferences. She has guided and evaluated number of M.Sc., MD, PhD students and conducted several guest session at National and International Conferences. She represented Medical Council of India and inspected many Undergraduate and Post Graduate Medical College for their approval. Her area of interest includes Clinical Pharmacology, Cardiovascular Pharmacology, Endocrinology, Nervous System, ADR Monitoring (Pharmacovigilance).

Dr. Charu Gautam – MBBS, MD, DNB (Pharmacology)
She is a clinical research professional with a decade's experience in the Clinical Research field and around 3 years experience in academics. She is Qualified as MD in Pharmacology from Gujarat University and holds a Diplomate in National Board (DNB) from the National Board of education, New Delhi.Her last assignment was with Lambda Therapeutic Research Ltd. where she was responsible as the Head of the department for Global clinical trial operations.  
Her wide experience includes Phase I, Bioequivalence studies, early exploratory trials, medical writing and Clinical Operations . She is currently responsible as the Head of Healthcare Academy at Xcellon Institute. She has also been a Lecturer at BJ Medical college, Ahmedabad and has been a lead faculty in several clinical research workshops, guest speaker at various conferences, seminars and training institutes. She is a Life Member of Indian Medical Association,, Indian Pharmacology Society & Indian Society of Clinical Research. Her areas of interest includes Early Phase Exploratory studies, Clinical Pharmacology, Clinical Trial Operations, Medical Writing, Pharmacovigilance.

Dr. V. Srivatsan PhD (Organic Chemistry)
He is B. Sc. and M. Sc. in Organic Chemistry from University of Delhi and has done his PhD in Organic Chemistry at Indian Institute Of Science, Bangalore. He is having vast experience of 21 years of which 6 years in academia, 5 years in pharmaceutical industry and 10 years in setting up and managing a Contract Research Organization. Dr. Srivatsan has strong background in pharmacokinetics, drug metabolism, bioanalytics and clinical studies. He has hands on experience in the  
design and conduct of experiments for drug metabolism and pharmacokinetics studies in laboratory. His area of interest includes Pharmacokinetics, BA/BE Studies, Regulation and Ethics, Clinical Trial Operation.

Dr. J. D. Patel MBBS, MS, M Ch

 

He is MBBS and MS with specialization in General surgery. He has also acquired Mch. in surgical oncology and completed Post Graduate Diploma in HRM from IGNOU. He has completed Post Graduate in Clinical and Hospital Management from National Institute of Health. He has experience of over 25years and is working as practicing surgical oncologist. He is also associated as part time Associate Professor

  
for surgical oncology at Gujarat Cancer & Research Institute, Ahmedabad. He is a consultant at Apollo CBCC for corporate relation and marketing. His area of interest includes Oncology Clinical Trials, Hospital Management, Cancer Awareness Program.

Nidhi Saxena – M. Sc. (Medical Pharmacology)

 

She is qualified as M.Sc. (Medical) in Pharmacology from M. S. University, Baroda. She carries a teaching experience of 8 years in Medical College. Prior to joining Xcellon Institute, she was associated with ICRI as Assistant Professor. Her area of experience includes pharmacology and clinical research, developing assessment tools. She was part of curriculum development, training programs for trainers at SBKS Medical college. She has also coordinated NVQ level program of Bournemouth and Pool University, UK. She has presented papers and posters in National and

 
International Conferences. Her area of interest includes Clinical Pharmacology, Ethics and Regulation and Pharmacovigilance.

Ms. Ashvika Sarwankar (M. Sc. Medical Microbiology)

 

She is M. Sc. Medical Microbiology from Government Medical College, M. S. University, Vadodara. She has significant and progressive work experience of 9 years which includes Teaching in Medical College and Science College, as a Microbiologist in the Cardiac Hospital. She has also got 2.5 years of Clinical Research experience in the phase III global clinical trials in Quintiles Multinational CRO. She has attended Investigators Meetings in Europe and India and also attended various national conferences. Her area of interest includes research in Immunology, Clinical Microbiology, Ethics & Regulations, Phase III Clinical Trials, Clinical Trial Monitoring.
